1. General Information

Professional background: Agnieszka Bojanowska, PhD in Psychology, registered NIP, specialized in preventative mental health care.
Scope of services: Individual and organizational counselling, in the field of psychological flexibility, prevention of mental health issues. Paths to Well-being operates outside the BIG register and does not provide medical or psychiatric treatment.
2. Vision and Mission
Paths to Well-being offers space for reflection, learning, and growth. The aim is to help individuals develop patterns of thought and behaviour that support mental health and positive psychosocial functioning. The work is grounded in scientific understanding of the human mind and conducted with respect, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
3. Quality of Care
Methods: The practice uses evidence-informed psychological approaches, including elements of cognitive and behavioural therapy, mindfulness, and integrative psychological support. The focus lies on awareness, self-regulation, and behavioural flexibility.
Boundaries: The practice does not provide medical diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, or crisis intervention. When such needs arise, clients are referred to a medical doctors, sich as GP or appropriate specialist.
Continuous development: The practitioner engages in professional education to ensure the quality, ethical standards, and depth of practice remain high.
4. Client Journey
Intake: The process begins with an intake session to clarify goals, needs, and expectations.
Agreement: After the intake, the goals and scope of work is agreed upon together with the client. The client provides informed consent before work begins.
Evaluation: Progress is discussed periodically, allowing for reflection and adjustment of goals.
Closure: The process is concluded through a closing session to integrate outcomes and ensure a responsible ending of the collaboration.
5. Safety and Risk Management
If a client experiences acute mental distress or crisis, they are advised to contact their doctor or emergency services immediately.
Paths to Well-being operates maintains appropriate professional liability insurance.
Paths to Well-being is affiliated with a recognized independent complaints and disputes committee (NIP).
An independent complaints officer can be contacted through this body for impartial support.
Clients are encouraged to first discuss concerns directly with the practitioner to seek resolution. If a complaint cannot be resolved internally, it can be submitted to the external disputes committee in accordance with Wkkgz regulations.

6. Privacy and Data Protection
The practice complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG/GDPR) and has a published privacy policy.
Client files are stored securely for 20 years, in line with the Wet op de geneeskundige behandelingsovereenkomst (WGBO).
Clients have the right to view, correct, or request deletion of their data, unless legal retention obligations apply.
In accordance with Dutch law, if there is a suspicion that a child is being abused or neglected, or that a client is exposed to domestic violence, the practitioner is obligated to report this to the appropriate authorities to ensure safety and well-being.
7. Collaboration and Referrals
When relevant, Paths to Well-being collaborates with other professionals such as psychologists, occupational physicians, HR specialists, and medical practitioners.
If during the process it becomes clear that medical or psychiatric treatment is needed, the client will be referred to their doctor or an appropriate care provider.
8. Transparency
All fees, terms, and conditions are communicated clearly before the start of any service.
The practice maintains a 24-hour cancellation policy, unless otherwise agreed.
